    Should do this

I noticed an esurance commercial on a TV in a bar last night. The sound wasn’t even on, and it still sounded annoying.

Do you even need to have a permit to have a party in a city park? Say, Cal Anderson?

    It could be like Slamdance…

A few people make a lot of money off throwing this frat-fest in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood every year. But is it good for the neighborhood? It’s likely the only “Block Party” or neighborhood party in Seattle that comes with a cover charge and military fencing, but now that it’s sponsored by Esurance I’ve got to call total bullshit.

Here’s a great discussion about last year’s CHBP. Does anyone know about the City of Seattle’s approval process for permits for this thing?
